There are three internal reasons for the obstacles of diesel generator set, which we hope can lead people to pay attention to: the structural characteristics of the components, and the structural mode of each component of the unit has its own characteristics. In labor, external factors often work through these characteristics, which causes obstacles to related parts. For example, due to the structural characteristics of the engine water jacket, under the high temperature, the cooling water simply forms scale on the outer wall of the cylinder liner, which affects the cooling effectiveness of the cylinder liner.
The labor characteristics of the machine parts, which are directly touched and relatively active, cause wear due to conflict. For example, the piston ring of a diesel engine directly touches the cylinder. During the labor process, the piston ring moves in the cylinder in a high-speed reciprocating straight line, causing wear to the cylinder. When working, the machine parts with strong temperature change will be deformed and cracked due to thermal stress. For example, in the process of engine labor, due to the effect of high temperature, the internal stress of the cylinder block and cylinder head is distributed from the beginning to a new average, resulting in warping and deformation of the cylinder block and cylinder head plane.
The nature of raw materials and oils shall be selected accurately according to the labor nature and characteristics of generator set parts in the design and manufacturing process. Improper selection of raw materials, inappropriate materials and inappropriate substitutes are the key reasons for wear, erosion, deformation, fatigue damage, splitting and aging of parts. The essence of all kinds of raw materials and oils used by the unit can be summed up in three aspects: physical essence, chemical essence and machine essence.
Many obstacles of the unit are the result of the influence of external factors and the effects of these essences. For example, metal raw materials will be deformed, cracked or even broken when subjected to excessive force, oxidized under high temperature, and fatigue damage will occur under various loads; The non-metallic materials will age, and the acidic materials contained in the oil will corrode the metal and make the oil worse.
