Precautions for replacing engine oil of diesel generator set

The lubricating oil exchange cycle time of diesel generator set is 600 hours or 300 hours in 12 months or 150 hours or 12 hours in 12 months, 400 hours or 200 hours in 12 months or 100 hours in 12 months or 12 months, whichever comes first. 200 hours or 100 hours in 12 months or 50 hours or 12 months
According to the different lubricating oil properties and fuel sulfur content, we can change the lubricating oil every 50 to 80 hours, and pay attention that the longest change period of lubricating oil should not exceed 12 months. If a longer change period than that listed in the table below is required, the lubricating oil manufacturer must be asked to test the oil. The percentage of fuel sulfur content is less than 0.5%, 0.5 to 1.0%, and more than 1.0%
Ensure that the oil level is between MIN and MAX marks. During continuous operation, check the oil level every 8 hours! It is dangerous to get close to the running belt motor or work on it. Pay attention to the placed parts and high temperature surfaces. Be sure to follow the lubricating oil exchange cycle specified in the regulations. When changing the lubricating oil, be sure to change the lubricating oil filter. The detailed operation is as follows
Clean the filter mounting base to avoid dirt when installing the new filter. Let the belt conveyor run to the working temperature. Remove the bottom bolt plug, drain the lubricating oil, and install the bottom plug with a new gasket. Remove the full flow filter and bypass filter, and check to ensure that no sealing gasket is left on the belt conveyor
Fill the filter with lubricating oil, apply some lubricating oil on the sealing gasket, screw the filter onto the belt conveyor by hand until the sealing gasket touches the base, and then tighten it for half a turn. Increase the lubricating oil to the appropriate address, not exceeding the MAX mark. Start the belt conveyor, let it run at a slow speed, and check whether the lubricating oil pressure is normal. Turn off the belt conveyor, check whether there is lubricating oil leakage around the filter, and increase it if necessary
